One fact is the time zone, if you choose a server in a time zone similar to the time zone where you live, the players on the server will be playing at the same time like you. Another fact is the language of the server, choose a server with a language you will understand, because it might be better the bigger part of the players speaks the same language you speak. You also have to choose a server with a population over low, because there are more players using the auction house and it is easyer to find people for groups. The last fact you have to look for is what kind of server you choose, there are PvP, PvE, RP and RPPvP Servers.
