If you enter Stormwind through the great gate in front of the city you will walk through the Valley of Heroes first. Its a proudfull legacy to the fallen heroes of the humans and the dwarves in the great wars. Stormwind is secured by a natural guard, because you can only achieve the city throgh the gate in front of the Valley of Heroes and all around Stormwind you will find great mountains protecting the city from enemies.

Stormwind is a really glory city if you look at those heroes and its knights, priests, mages and paladins fighting agains the bad enemies in the great wars agains the Horde. You will find a lot of old allies in here, some High Elves, Dwarves and a few Night Elves and Gnomes are living in Stormwind in WoW.
